Before purchasing a new remote we recommend you check the following steps first.

Review Tips – Opener doesn’t operate from the remote?

Does the opener have electric power? Plug lamp into outlet. If it doesn’t light, check the fuse box or the circuit breaker. (Some outlets are controlled by a wall switch.)
Have you disengaged all door locks? Review installation instruction warnings of the instruction guide.
Does the light come on on your remote when you press the button? if the light does not come on there is a strong chance the battery is flat. Replace the battery.
Door operates from wall plate but not from remote: Replace batteries in the remote if necessary. If you have two or more remotes and only one operates, review the instruction guide for Program Your Opener, Remote and Keyless Entry.
